Welcome to another episode of The Coach’s Circle Podcast!
Our show is all about showing you everything the world of coaching has to offer–what it is, what it isn’t, and whether it might be the right career choice for you.
Through our conversations with professionals in a variety of different mental health and wellness fields, you’ll gain valuable, real-world insight into their careers and consider how their experiences might impact your own career choices. Our interviews will feature coaches, therapists, counselors, personal trainers, and other professionals who incorporate coaching into their practices. Our hope is that these varied perspectives will help you come to understand exactly the type of coach you were meant to be.
Today’s special guest is Ruby Le. She is a dating coach based in San Diego, California and holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Ruby takes us through her personal background and how it impacted her career choice
- How Ruby continuously refined her niche until she reached her ideal clientele
- Why working on your own mental health is usually the most effective first step in improving your dating life
- How a checkbox approach to dating is often the biggest impediment to finding lasting love
“At the end of the day, it’s not about me. It’s not about my relationship, it’s theirs. My goal and the result I want for them is to be in a long-term, happy relationship. And the only way to do so is if they’re authentically themselves, and they feel good, and they know that what they’re doing is something that they want to do. Any action or anything that they say, it’s all on them and they feel good about it. […] The only way you can find the right person is to elevate who you already are and not try to change that.”
