CEO & Founder, Inspire Recovery
Welcome to another episode of The Coach’s Circle Podcast!
Our show is all about showing you everything the world of coaching has to offer–what it is, what it isn’t, and whether it might be the right career choice for you.
Through our conversations with professionals in a variety of different mental health and wellness fields, you’ll gain valuable, real-world insight into their careers and consider how their experiences might impact your own career choices. Our interviews will feature coaches, therapists, counselors, personal trainers, and other professionals who incorporate coaching into their practices. Our hope is that these varied perspectives will help you come to understand exactly the type of coach you were meant to be.
Today’s special guest is Donna Weinberger. Donna is the founder and CEO of Inspire Recovery, a Drug & Alcohol Rehab center for the LGBTQIA+ community in West Palm Beach, Florida.

On what inspired Donna to start Inspire Recovery: “What I was seeing, and what still happens today, is that trans people go into a treatment center or to a psychiatric hospital, they will not put the person in the room with the gender that they identify with. They’re putting a female person into a guy’s room, or a male person into a female person’s room. […] They’re not getting help in that facility; they’re having more trauma put on them. What happens is people not understanding identity. Identity comes from the head; it has nothing to do with body parts or expression.”
